Career Counselling

The time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining.

John F. Kennedy

Job market in each country presents its unique features. It is important to know local practices and dos & don'ts of a job application, to be aware of market expectations, your strengths, and to be able to communicate them as well as your experience in a clear and accessible way. This is the case in Switzerland as well.

I would be happy to let you benefit from the decade of my experience in human resources, particularly recruitment, and consulting in Switzerland and to make you confident for your next career step. If you are representing an organisation, which is going through a transformation, I would be glad to support your affected employees in the outplacement process in one-on-one or group trainings. You can be sure to:

  • gain an in-depth understanding of your skills, competencies and talents. Some of them might surprise you.

  • gain know-how of what the job market needs and expects

  • adjust your job application to these expectations and connect what you can with what is needed

  • know dos & don'ts of the local CV practices in English and German

  • design your CV and cover letter in a comprehensive way and in line with local practices

  • receive critical and constructive professional feedback on your CV and your profile on professional social networks

  • be trained in job interview

  • get suggestions on where suitable opportunities might be

Don't hesitate to contact me and arrange an appointment at nb@psycounselling.com or +41 78 910 25 73.

I am looking forward to support you or your employees on a professional transition to and within Switzerland.
