It was a great experience presenting and discussing my research at the international conference Movement: Brain, Body, Cognition at La Sorbonne University in Paris in August – September 2022. In our study we did together with Dr. Yasuhiro Kotera at the University of Derby we explored the influence of dance on embodied self-awareness and well-being. Our research paper was published in the Journal of Creativity in Mental Health, the official academic journal of the Association for Creativity in Counseling, the division of the American Counseling Association.
Having been postponed due to the pandemic, the conference finally took place in-person this year, and it was a pleasure meeting the colleagues from all over the world in Paris both at La Sorbonne and on the river Seine. Indeed moving in many ways!
