Publication by Taylor & Francis: Influence of Dance on Embodied Self-Awareness and Well-Being (IPA)

Our article is out: following a creative collaboration with Dr. Yasuhiro Kotera, Academic Lead in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Psychology, University of Derby, UK, a research on lived experience with dance, embodied self-awareness and well-being at the University of Derby, and a rigorous peer-review, the paper titled Influence of Dance on Embodied Self-Awareness and Well-Being: An Interpretative Phenomenological Exploration was published today by Taylor & Francis in the Journal of Creativity in Mental Health, the official journal of the Association for Creativity in Counseling, a division of the American Counseling Association. We hope our paper will contribute to the use of dance for mental health and well-being by the broader public and provide mental health professionals with helpful insights for their practice.
